Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (a specific type of oesophageal cancer), confirmed through a tissue sample test

- People who have had an active autoimmune disease requiring ongoing medical treatment in the past 2 years
- People who currently have an active infection that requires treatment
- People with serious uncontrolled health conditions, such as heart failure, unstable chest pain, irregular heartbeat, ongoing infection, or mental health or personal circumstances that may make it difficult to follow the trial requirements
- People who have previously been treated with certain types of immunotherapy drugs (specifically anti-PD-1, anti-PD-L1, or anti-CTLA-4 medications)
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding; women who could become pregnant will need a negative blood pregnancy test within 7 days before being enrolled
- People who are known to have an allergy or sensitivity to the study medications or any of their ingredients
