- You have been diagnosed with either a non-cancerous (benign) thyroid nodule or a type of thyroid cancer called papillary thyroid carcinoma
- You have had one of two procedures: microwave ablation (a treatment using heat to destroy tissue) or surgical removal of part or all of the thyroid gland
- You are able to understand and complete a survey or questionnaire as part of the study
