Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have had migraines (with or without aura) for at least 6 months.
- People who experience 15 or more headache days per month.
- People who experience 8 or more migraine days per month.
- People whose migraines typically last between 4 and 72 hours when left untreated.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a headache that never goes away or stops.
- People who have a psychiatric condition that is not being treated or is not under control.

- People who have a history of alcohol abuse or use of illegal drugs.
- People who have a history of severe allergic reactions to medication.
- People who are currently using more than one medication to prevent migraines.
