Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 or older at the time of signing the consent form, of any gender

• People whose brain metastasis has been confirmed by laboratory analysis of tissue taken during surgery performed after signing the trial consent form
• People with any type of primary cancer, including breast cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, or others — having more than one primary cancer is also allowed
• People who have adequate bone marrow, kidney, and liver function, confirmed by tests done before surgery
• Women who could potentially become pregnant, including those who had their last period within the last 2 years, must have a negative pregnancy test at screening
• People who are able to understand what the study involves, sign a written consent form, and agree to follow the study requirements and attend required appointments

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose cancer outside the brain is rapidly worsening
• People who are unable to have a brain MRI scan
• People whose brain metastases are progressing in a way that would require whole-brain radiotherapy after surgery (targeted radiotherapy to a specific area after surgery is permitted)
• People whom the trial investigator believes are unlikely to follow the study procedures and requirements
• People who intend to become pregnant during the study
• People who are currently pregnant
• People who are breastfeeding and do not agree to stop nursing before starting any treatment in the study
• Sexually active people who could potentially father or become pregnant and are not willing to use effective contraception during the study, and men who do not agree to avoid donating sperm during the study
