Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (a type of cancer in the head and neck area) confirmed by a laboratory test before surgery, and who are receiving it as their first treatment

- People aged between 18 and 70 years old
- People whose recent blood test results (taken within one week before joining) show that their neutrophil count is at least 1.5×10⁹/L and their platelet count is at least 75×10⁹/L (these are measures of certain blood cells)
- People who agree to take part voluntarily and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had radiation treatment to the head or neck area
- People who have serious other medical conditions or complications
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People who the research team considers unsuitable for the trial for other reasons (confirm with trial site)
