Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with cancer of the anal canal or cervix, confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy).
- People whose cancer has been found to be linked to HPV (Human Papillomavirus).
- People whose cancer is contained within the local area — specifically, anal canal cancer at stage I to III, or cervical cancer at stage IB2 to IVA, based on standard medical staging guidelines.
- People whose planned treatment is radiation therapy, with or without chemotherapy, as the main course of treatment.
- People who are generally active and able to carry out daily activities with no or minimal limitations (confirm with trial site regarding how this is assessed).
- People aged 18 or older.

- People whose cancer has clearly spread to distant parts of the body at the time of diagnosis.
- People whose cancer shows clear signs of getting worse on their first scan after completing radiation treatment, or who need surgery immediately after finishing their main treatment (this applies to a specific phase of the trial — confirm with trial site).
- People who need frequent blood transfusions, such as on a weekly basis.
- People who have another serious, uncontrolled medical condition that the treating doctor considers to be life-threatening.
- People who have had another active invasive cancer within the past 5 years — though certain skin cancers and very early-stage cancers that have not spread may still be considered.
- People who are pregnant.
- People who currently have an active serious infection or related illness.
- People with a history of autoimmune diseases.
