Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 65 years or older, of any gender
• People who have been diagnosed with both sarcopenia (low muscle mass and either low grip strength or poor physical performance, measured using specific tests and a body scan) and osteoporosis (low bone density, with a specific scan score of -2.5 or below), a combined condition called osteosarcopenia
• People who are willing and able to attend follow-up visits and take part in all parts of the study as required

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have had a bone fracture within the last 3 months
• People who have previously taken medication for osteoporosis
• People with a condition or who take medication that is known to affect bone or muscle health
• People who are unable to move around independently and are confined to a chair or bed
• People who are unable to give informed consent to participate
• People for whom the study medications (Denosumab or Zoledronic Acid) are medically unsuitable
• People with an active cancer or a condition known to cause significant muscle and weight loss
• People with severely reduced kidney function (confirm with trial site)
• People with moderate to severe liver disease (confirm with trial site)
