Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Adults aged 18 to 79 years old
  • People with a liver condition called MASLD or MASH who are already taking part in another clinical trial that requires specific liver imaging scans (MRI PDFF and/or MRE)
  • People with MASLD or MASH who are already enrolled in a research follow-up study that requires those same liver imaging scans

  • People who have a history of advanced liver disease where the liver has stopped working properly (decompensated cirrhosis)
  • People who have a history of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma)
  • Adults who are under legal guardianship or who are not able to give informed consent
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People who are currently in legal detention or otherwise deprived of their freedom
  • People who are hospitalised without being able to give consent, or who are admitted as an emergency
  • People who have another known liver disease beyond MASLD/MASH
