Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 80 years old (any gender)
• You have been diagnosed with intermediate-risk or high-risk bladder cancer that has not grown into the bladder muscle, and your doctor has recommended bladder wash-out (instillation) treatment
• You have not previously had bladder wash-out treatment, other than a one-time treatment given immediately after surgery
• You are generally able to carry out daily activities, with little to no limitation from your illness (confirm with trial site)
• You are able and willing to follow the trial schedule, attend follow-up appointments, and report any side effects as directed by the study team
• You are willing to take part voluntarily, understand what the study involves, and have signed a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

• Your bladder was accidentally punctured during surgery, or you currently have heavy visible blood in your urine, a serious bladder inflammation caused by chemicals, or a urinary tract infection
• You have a weakened or damaged immune system — for example, due to HIV/AIDS, or because you are taking medication that suppresses the immune system, or you have had radiotherapy
• You have a known allergy or sensitivity to the study drug or any of its ingredients
• You have been taking hormone-based medications long-term, or you have a history of drug misuse or dependence
• You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant in the near future
• Your blood test results, liver or kidney function, or blood clotting results are outside acceptable ranges — this includes low counts of certain blood cells, low haemoglobin (indicating possible anaemia), poor kidney function, or abnormal clotting levels (confirm with trial site for specific values)
• You have been diagnosed with, or currently have, a bone marrow disorder called myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) or a type of blood cancer called acute myeloid leukaemia (AML)
• You have a confirmed history of a serious neurological or mental health condition, such as epilepsy or dementia
• You have serious ongoing health conditions — such as severely uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid disease — that could put you at risk or affect your ability to complete the study
• You have other serious illnesses, very abnormal lab results, or personal/social circumstances that could affect your safety or the collection of study data
• You have an active infection being treated, heart failure, unstable chest pain (angina), or an irregular heartbeat that is not under control
• The study doctor feels, for any other reason, that this trial is not appropriate for you
