- You are an adult who can walk (even with the help of a walking aid or support) and have been diagnosed through genetic testing with a muscular dystrophy or myopathy (such as a condition affecting the muscles from birth or developing later in life), spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), or Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 1 or 2.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a heart condition where the heart muscle is enlarged or has been damaged by reduced blood flow, and this is causing moderate problems with how your heart works.
- You have serious long-term breathing difficulties, specifically if your lungs are working at less than 40% of their expected capacity, or if your blood oxygen levels drop too low for more than 5% of the time while you are sleeping.
