Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have a history of, or currently have, osteoporosis or other conditions affecting bone metabolism
  • People who have had a diagnosis of cancer within the 5 years before screening, with some exceptions for certain fully treated skin cancers (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have had issues with drug abuse, alcohol abuse, or drug dependence within the 2 years before screening
  • People who currently have a copper or hormone-releasing intrauterine device (IUD) or a hormonal implant in place, unless it can be removed at least one month before the study begins
  • People whose bone density scan results during screening show a Z-score below -2.0 at the lower spine, hip, or femoral neck (a measure of bone strength — confirm with trial site)
  • People whom the trial doctors consider unsuitable for any other reason
