Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a serious physical health condition, such as significant brain lesions, thyroid problems, epilepsy, congenital heart disease, serious blood disorders, lupus, or significant hearing or vision problems
  • A brain scan has shown significant abnormalities in the structure of your brain
  • You have a serious neurological (brain or nerve) condition, or a strong family history that suggests a risk of one (confirm with trial site)
  • You have metal implants or a pacemaker in your body, or have any holes or fractures in your skull
  • You are currently receiving any ADHD treatment — such as medication like methylphenidate, behavioral therapy, or other treatments — or you stopped such treatment less than 2 weeks ago
  • Your score on a standard reasoning and thinking ability test (Raven's Progressive Matrices) is below 85
