- (For pre-surgery treatment) You have bladder cancer at a certain stage (T2 to T4a) that has not spread to nearby lymph nodes or other parts of the body
- (For post-surgery treatment) After surgery, your cancer was found to have reached a more advanced stage (T3 or T4) and/or had spread to nearby lymph nodes
Who may not be able to join:
- The trial doctors have assessed that you are not well enough to safely undergo major bladder removal surgery
- You have previously had chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatment (given throughout the body, not just locally)
- You have an active autoimmune disease that currently requires treatment, or another condition that requires long-term use of high doses of steroids or other medications that suppress the immune system
- You have had a major surgery or serious physical injury within the last 28 days
- You have received a live vaccine (such as certain flu or shingles vaccines) within the last 28 days
