You are between 18 and 70 years old at the time of your liver biopsy
Any gender may participate
Your liver biopsy results show NASH (a type of fatty liver disease caused by fat buildup, not alcohol) along with moderate to severe liver scarring (stage F2 to F4)

You are currently pregnant
Before your liver biopsy, you were found to have liver cancer or a growth suspected to be liver cancer, severe liver failure with complications such as fluid in the belly, confusion caused by liver problems, internal bleeding, or kidney failure related to liver disease
You have or have had another type of cancer (other than liver cancer)
You have previously had a liver transplant
The trial doctor feels, for any reason, that this study would not be appropriate for you (confirm with trial site)
