Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 80 years old (both men and women)
- People whose doctor has decided they need a treatment where medicine is put directly into the bladder for one of the following reasons: a painful bladder condition (interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome), frequent bladder infections, a type of early bladder cancer that hasn't spread into the bladder muscle, bladder problems caused by previous radiation treatment, or bladder problems caused by previous chemotherapy
- People who have had a urine test (to check for infection) come back clear within the last two weeks
- People who agree to take part in the study and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had a urinary tract infection in the past month, or who currently have an active infection
- People who have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder or who regularly have visible blood in their urine
- People who have more than 100 ml of urine left in their bladder after going to the toilet (confirm with trial site)
- People who have a mental health condition that would make it difficult for them to reliably take part in the study
