Who might be able to join this trial:
For people with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS):
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have a confirmed diagnosis of Prader-Willi syndrome with an identified genetic type
- People whose cognitive testing (a standardised thinking and reasoning assessment called WAIS-IV) shows a score of 55 or above
- People who score at a concerning level on at least one area of a brain function questionnaire called the BRIEF-A
- Adults who are willing to take part and can follow the study procedures
- People who have signed a consent form agreeing to participate
- People who are covered by a social security scheme (confirm with trial site)
For caregivers:
- Caregivers who are involved in the participant's family, medical, or institutional care
- Caregivers who have signed a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
For people with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS):
- People with psychiatric or behavioural conditions that are not being treated or are not yet stable, including a serious mental health episode within the past year
- People with severe vision or hearing impairment
- People with sleep apnoea that is not being treated
- People who experience epileptic seizures
- People who have had a significant abnormal heart tracing (ECG) result in the past
- People who have a pacemaker or defibrillator
- People who have any metal or electronic devices implanted in their head
- People who are currently participating in another research study that has an exclusion period that has not yet ended
- People whose depression questionnaire (BDI-II) score is 30 or above, indicating severe depression
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
