Who might be able to join this trial:
- You speak English
- You have been diagnosed with early-stage bladder cancer (stage Tis, Ta, or T1)
- You are 18 years old or older (there is no upper age limit)
- You live in New York State
- Your cancer was diagnosed through normal medical channels, not only through a lab report, nursing home record, or death certificate/autopsy
- You have not had surgery to partially or fully remove your bladder
- You do not have another cancer diagnosis within 12 months of your bladder cancer diagnosis, unless it is a low-risk cancer (such as basal cell skin cancer) that is unlikely to affect your ability to participate, and you are not currently receiving treatment for any other cancer
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had chemotherapy or radiation therapy within the past 4 weeks (or 6 weeks for certain specific drugs), or you are still experiencing side effects from these treatments
- You are unable to give your own consent to participate
- You are unable to complete the study activities in English
- You are under 18 years old
- You have a serious ongoing or uncontrolled illness, such as an active infection, heart failure, unstable chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or a mental health condition that could make it difficult to follow the study requirements
- You are unwilling or unable to follow the study's requirements
- You are a cognitively impaired adult or have difficulty making decisions for yourself
- You are currently pregnant
- You are currently incarcerated
