Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been newly diagnosed with oral squamous cell cancer (a type of mouth cancer) and have not yet received any treatment, confirmed by a tissue or cell sample test

Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant
- People who have a history of moderate to severe hearing loss
- People who have had a previous cancer diagnosis, other than certain skin cancers (non-melanoma) or a very early-stage cervical condition called carcinoma in situ
- People who have lost more than 15% of their body weight in the past 6 months
- People with a known diagnosis of HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C
