Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 75 years old who have been diagnosed with generalized Myasthenia Gravis (a muscle weakness condition that affects more than just the eyes)
- People whose Myasthenia Gravis has been confirmed to be at a moderate to severe level (but not severe enough to need a breathing machine) based on a standard classification system
- People who have had a blood test confirming certain antibodies linked to Myasthenia Gravis, or who have tested negative for those antibodies
- People whose symptoms score at least 6 points on a standard Myasthenia Gravis daily activity scale, with more than half of those points coming from symptoms other than eye problems
- People who have been on a steady, unchanged dose of their current standard Myasthenia Gravis treatment for a set period of time as required by the study
- People who are able to safely swallow the study medication, confirmed by a swallowing test at the start of the study
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have recently received certain treatments, including: a specific antibody therapy (IVIg) or plasma exchange in the past month, rituximab in the past 6 months, eculizumab in the past 2 months, ravulizumab or similar complement-blocking drugs in the past 3 months, efgartigimod or similar therapies in the past 3 months, or who have had their thymus removed in the past 6 months or plan to have it removed during the trial
- Women who could potentially become pregnant, unless they are using a highly effective form of contraception throughout the study and for one week after finishing the study treatment
