  • You are a man or woman aged 65 or older with either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
  • You live in your own home
  • You were diagnosed with diabetes at least one year ago
  • You are willing and able to sign a consent form to take part in the study
  • You have some previous experience with rhythm-based exercise that involves doing more than one thing at a time (such as dance or similar activities)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a significant neurological condition (such as Parkinson's disease or Multiple Sclerosis), a balance disorder, or have had surgery such as a hip or knee replacement that affects your ability to exercise
  • You have severely impaired memory or thinking ability, based on a specific cognitive test score (confirm with trial site)
  • You rely completely on a walking aid to get around
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have an active cancer diagnosis or are considered terminally ill
  • You are unable to understand Danish, either in writing or spoken
  • You have taken part in another interventional clinical study within the last six months
  • You currently exercise more than 5 hours per week
