For the Psychotherapeutic Unit part of the trial:

  • Adults aged 18 or older
  • People who have been diagnosed with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) according to standard diagnostic guidelines (ICD-10)
  • People who have signed a form agreeing to take part in the trial
  • People who have been referred to the "Main Level" treatment program

For the Competence Centre for Transcultural Psychiatry part of the trial:

  • People who are refugees, or who have moved to Denmark to be reunited with a family member who is a refugee
  • People who have been diagnosed with PTSD according to standard diagnostic guidelines (ICD-10)
  • People whose traumatic experiences happened outside Denmark, including experiences such as imprisonment or torture, cruel or degrading treatment, organised violence, long-term political persecution, or war and civil war
  • People who have signed a form agreeing to take part in the trial

Who may not be able to join:

  • People with a serious psychotic disorder that is considered a separate condition from their PTSD or depression (confirm with trial site)
  • People who are currently actively dependent on or using drugs or alcohol in a way that meets a specific clinical definition of dependence (confirm with trial site)
