Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form to take part in the study.
- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis and have tested positive for acetylcholine receptor antibodies.
- Your condition has been stable for at least 4 months, meaning your IVIG treatment schedule has not changed and your symptoms have not significantly changed.
- You have not had any changes to certain immune-suppressing medications (non-steroidal immunosuppressive treatments) in the past 6 months.
- You have not had any changes to steroid medications in the past 3 months.
- Your Myasthenia Gravis diagnosis was confirmed by an abnormal nerve transmission test, or you have a history of responding to a specific type of medication called an AChE inhibitor.
- You have been receiving regular IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin) infusions for Myasthenia Gravis for at least one year.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have received Rituximab, Eculizumab, or plasma exchange treatment within the past 6 months.
- You have had thymus gland surgery (thymectomy) within the past 3 months.
- You currently have active Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, tuberculosis (active or untreated), or any other significant active infection.
- Your blood test shows low levels of a certain immune protein (IgG below 6.0g/L), or you have a history of chronically low levels of this protein for any reason.
- You are pregnant or planning to become pregnant within the next 6 months.
- You have serious kidney problems (confirm with trial site if unsure about your kidney function).
- The trial doctor believes, for any reason, that it would not be appropriate for you to take part.
