Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing and able to give their informed consent to take part in the study
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who have been diagnosed with a specific type of heart failure called HFpEF by an experienced heart specialist, or who have signs and symptoms of heart failure with a particular test score of 5 or higher (confirm with trial site)
- People who are able to read and understand written English
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose heart is pumping below 45% of its normal capacity
- People whose heart pumping function was previously very low (below 40%) and has since recovered, unless that low function was caused by a fast or irregular heartbeat condition such as atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter
- People with severe disease affecting one or more of the heart's valves
- People whose heart failure is caused by certain specific heart conditions, including cardiac amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, genetic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, restrictive cardiomyopathy, pericardial disease, or a heart condition present from birth
- People with a known inherited, unexplained, or medication-caused form of high blood pressure in the lungs (pulmonary arterial hypertension)
- People who have medical reasons preventing them from safely having a cardiac CT or MRI scan, including those with significantly reduced kidney function (a kidney filtering score of 30 or below), or people who have a device in their body that is not compatible with MRI scanning
- People who are pregnant
