Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have active generalized vitiligo (white patches spread across the body) that covers more than 5% of your body surface area, not counting the hands and feet
- You have not taken any oral or injected vitiligo treatments in the last 3 months, and have not used any skin creams or topical treatments for vitiligo in the last 4 weeks
Who may not be able to join:
- Your vitiligo mainly affects the hands, feet, face, or mucous membranes (such as inside the mouth), or only affects one side/segment of the body
- You are currently taking any medication that suppresses the immune system
- You have another skin condition such as psoriasis, lupus (SLE), or alopecia areata (patchy hair loss) that could affect how the study results are measured
- You have or have had certain serious conditions that affect a body protein called S100B, such as a brain bleed (subarachnoid hemorrhage), Alzheimer's disease, inflammatory diseases, or skin cancer (malignant melanoma)
- You have a weakened immune system, uncontrolled high blood pressure, a serious ongoing infection, anemia, a history of blood clots, or serious heart, lung, liver, digestive, hormonal, blood, neurological, or mental health conditions (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding

serum s100B in active generalized vitiligo; the effect of treatments on s100B levels; clinical efficacy of oral baricitinib combined with phototherapy in stopping the progression of the disease.; baricitinib combined with phototherapy in achieving satisfactory re-pigmentation.
