Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 74 years old
- You have been diagnosed with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis by a skin or joint specialist
- Your doctor has already decided, as part of your normal care, that you should start one of these medications: secukinumab, bimekizumab, or ixekizumab
- You have no reason why you cannot have an MRI scan (for example, you do not have incompatible metal implants or devices in your body)
- You have completed the standard safety checks required before starting a biologic medication (such as tests for TB, HIV, and hepatitis)
- If you have had steroid injections into a muscle or joint, these were not given within the 4 weeks before the study starts
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you are willing to use effective contraception for the duration of the study
- You are willing to take part and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable to give written consent to take part
- You have a severe physical disability such as blindness, deafness, or paralysis
- You currently have a serious active infection, such as active tuberculosis
- You have a history of inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have severe claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) that would prevent you from having an MRI scan
- You have metal implants in your ears, head, or neck, microbladed or tattooed eyebrows, or metal fragments in your eyes, as these are not compatible with the type of MRI used in this study
- You have a neurological condition such as multiple sclerosis, a history of stroke, or a traumatic brain injury
- You have been treated with certain similar medications (IL-17 or IL-23 inhibitors) in the last 6 months (confirm with trial site)
- You have a known allergy to any ingredients in secukinumab, bimekizumab, or ixekizumab
- The trial team has any other concern that makes participation unsuitable for you
