- You have been diagnosed with adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN) confirmed by a genetic test, and you have difficulty moving your legs
- You are able to communicate normally and can complete questionnaire-based tests on your own

Who may not be able to join:
- You have another inherited (genetic) disease in addition to AMN
- You have another serious disease affecting the brain or spinal cord
- You have had brain surgery in the past
- You have a mental health condition such as depression or anxiety
- You have metal implants or devices inside your body (such as a pacemaker or insulin pump), or you have a fear of enclosed spaces (claustrophobia), or any other reason why you cannot safely have an MRI scan
- You have not given your consent to take part in the study
- You are unable to tolerate or cope with MRI scans
- You are taking blood thinners, muscle relaxant medications, or anti-seizure medications at any point during the study period
- You have a wound infection following a recent surgery
- You have another condition that affects how you move, such as spinal cord problems, broken bones, joint disease, limb amputation, or a curved spine
