Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 18 years or older.
  • People whose overall health allows them to complete a full course of pelvic radiation therapy, with or without chemotherapy or internal radiation (brachytherapy).

Cohort A (one of three groups):

  • People diagnosed with locally advanced cervical cancer at a specific stage range (Stage IB2 to IIIC1, using the FIGO 2018 staging system) who are planned for curative treatment, or those at Stage IIIB to IVA where radiation for symptom relief is the planned approach.
  • People who have not previously had radiation to the pelvis or chemotherapy.

Cohort B (one of three groups):

  • People diagnosed with locally advanced cervical cancer at Stage IIIC2, using the FIGO 2018 staging system.
  • People who have not previously had radiation to the pelvis or chemotherapy.

Cohort C (one of three groups):

  • People diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer who need radiation directed at a specific area that has already been treated with radiation before (re-irradiation).

Who may not be able to join:

  • People with a serious medical condition that would prevent them from completing the full treatment.
  • People with a weakened immune system or a currently active infection.
  • People currently taking medications that suppress the immune system for another medical condition.
  • People who are planned to receive a type of cancer treatment known as immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
