Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You need a ureteric stent (a small tube placed in the urinary tract) because of kidney stones or because a cancer in the abdomen or pelvis is pressing on the tubes that connect your kidneys to your bladder
- You have had a ureteric stent before
- You are currently waiting to have a stent inserted or an existing stent replaced
- You are able to give your consent to take part in the study
- You are able to read and interact with study documents and questionnaires
- You have enough English to complete the study documents and questionnaires
Who may not be able to join:
- Doctors expect your life expectancy to be less than 4 months
- You are not well enough to safely have a stent inserted
- You are not able to follow the steps and processes required by the study
- You are pregnant
