Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with a sudden, severe worsening of a long-term liver condition, where at least two major organs are failing at the same time (a condition graded as ACLF grade 2 or higher, confirmed using a specific medical scoring system)

- People whose immune system is weakened, including those with certain immune or rheumatic diseases, HIV, or who are taking medication that suppresses the immune system
- People who have previously received an organ transplant
