Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with primary cervical cancer at stages I to III, with any type of cervical cancer cell type accepted
- People aged 18 to 75 years old
- People who have already had a radical or modified radical hysterectomy (surgical removal of the uterus and surrounding tissue, classified as type B or type C surgery) along with removal of pelvic lymph nodes
- People who have complete medical records from before and after their surgery
- People whose blood test results and liver and kidney function fall within acceptable ranges (specifically: haemoglobin above 60 g/L; platelets above 70 × 10⁹/L; white blood cells above 3 × 10⁹/L; creatinine below 50 mg/dL; no more than three abnormal liver enzyme results, and no liver enzyme value more than three times the upper limit of normal)
- People with no history of any other cancer in the past 5 years
- People who are not pregnant
- People who are well enough to carry out daily activities, as measured by standard medical scoring tools (Karnofsky score of 60 or above, or ECOG score of 0 or 1)
- People who are willing to take part, sign a consent form, follow the study requirements, and attend follow-up visits
- People with no mental illness and no serious infectious or immune system conditions (such as lupus, myasthenia gravis, or HIV)
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a known allergy to ICG (a medical dye) or iodine
- People who are not able to safely undergo surgery for medical reasons
- People who have been diagnosed with cervical cancer that has come back after previous treatment (recurrent cervical cancer)
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial within the past 3 months
- People whose overall health or organ function means they are unlikely to tolerate surgery, based on assessments done before the procedure
- People with other existing health conditions that the trial investigators believe could interfere with the study results or make participation unsuitable (confirm with trial site)
- People, or their legal guardians, who are unwilling or unable to sign a written consent form or attend the required follow-up appointments
