Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between the ages of 40 and 55 years old
- Both men and women are eligible
- People who have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS)
- People whose thinking and memory abilities fall within a specific range on a test called the MoCA (a score of 21–25), which includes those experiencing problems with planning and decision-making due to MS — this applies to relapsing-remitting, primary progressive, and secondary progressive types of MS
- People who have difficulty with balance and walking
- People whose balance falls within a specific range on a test called the Berg Balance Scale (a score of 21–45)
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a history of moderate to severe head injury, stroke, or seizures
- People whose thinking or memory difficulties are caused by a neurological condition other than MS, either in the past or present
- People who currently have a major psychiatric condition, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or clinical depression
- People with a history of learning disabilities, severe head trauma, or alcohol or drug misuse
