Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with gastroparesis (a condition where the stomach empties too slowly) and/or functional dyspepsia (ongoing stomach discomfort without a clear physical cause)
- You have been prescribed a medication to help with stomach movement or to manage your symptoms as part of your regular care
- You are able to have a Body Surface Gastric Mapping (BSGM) recording — a non-invasive test that measures stomach activity — both before and during your treatment
- You are able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to have two BSGM recordings taken
Who may not be able to join:
- You are under 18 years of age
- You have had previous surgery on your esophagus (food pipe) or stomach (note: appendix removal or gallbladder removal are still allowed)
- You have a history of skin allergies or are known to be very sensitive to cosmetics or lotions
- You are currently pregnant
- You are a prisoner, have a known cognitive (thinking or memory) impairment, or currently live in an institutionalized setting (confirm with trial site)
