Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children who have been officially diagnosed with ADHD according to standard diagnostic guidelines (DSM-5) and relevant Traditional Chinese Medicine guidelines
- Children aged between 6 and 12 years old
- Children who have not taken any medications — including Western medicines or Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments — in the two weeks before the trial begins
- Children who score above 80 on a standard reasoning and problem-solving test called Raven's Progressive Matrices
- Children who have not previously participated in any other clinical trials
Who may not be able to join:
- Children who do not meet the criteria listed above
- Children who have other mental health conditions, serious medical or psychiatric conditions that could affect the study (such as epilepsy or severe anxiety), developmental disorders, intellectual disability, or a history of suicidal thoughts or self-harm
- Children who have taken part in another drug clinical trial within the past 3 months
- Children who have serious conditions affecting the heart, liver, kidneys, or blood
- Children who have any other condition that the research team believes could affect how the trial results are measured or interpreted (confirm with trial site)
