Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) or lymphoblastic lymphoma (LBL)
- People who have been treated with steroid medicines called glucocorticoids for at least 21 days in a row, at either the Children's University Hospital of Basel or the Children's Hospital of Aarau, between 1 July 2024 and 30 June 2027
- People whose legal guardians (and the patient themselves, if aged 14 or older) are able to give signed consent during the second week of glucocorticoid treatment
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a known or suspected allergic reaction to a medicine called Synacthen® (a synthetic hormone given through a drip), as this is a contraindication to receiving it — this is described as extremely rare
