Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People who have been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) at Stage 3 or Stage 4, confirmed by a specific kidney function test called eGFR

- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have an autoimmune disease, such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis
- People who have been taking long-term antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medications that could affect gut bacteria
- People with severe behavioural or cognitive difficulties that may make it hard to follow the study requirements
