Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) at a specific stage (stage IIA to IIIB), confirmed by a laboratory test on a tissue or cell sample, and who have not yet received any treatment for it
- People whose lung tumour has been assessed by a specialist medical team, including a chest surgeon, as being removable or potentially removable by surgery

- People who are able to provide a tumour tissue or cell sample that meets the required quality standards for a specific laboratory test (checking a protein called PD-L1)
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose lung cancer is a type called small cell lung cancer (SCLC), or a mixed type that includes both small cell and non-small cell lung cancer
- People who have specific gene changes in their cancer known as EGFR-sensitive mutations or ALK fusion
- People who have previously been treated with certain immune-based therapies, including anti-PD-1, anti-PD-L1, or anti-PD-L2 drugs, or other drugs that work on similar immune system pathways
- People who have a known or suspected condition where the immune system attacks the body (autoimmune disease) or a weakened immune system — with some possible exceptions, such as an underactive thyroid not requiring hormone treatment or well-controlled type 1 diabetes (confirm with trial site)
- People who currently have an active infection that requires treatment with medication throughout the body (such as antibiotics or antifungals)
