Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You are either male or female
- You have been diagnosed with a rare brain tumor (one that affects fewer than 6 in every 100,000 people per year)
- You are scheduled to have open brain surgery (craniotomy) to treat your rare brain tumor
- You are a native Italian speaker, as the thinking, memory, and psychological assessments are conducted in Italian
Who may not be able to join:
- You are having a type of minimally invasive needle biopsy procedure (called a stereotactic or frameless biopsy) rather than open brain surgery
- You have a diagnosed psychiatric (mental health) condition or you currently take medications that affect mood or mental health
- You already had memory or thinking difficulties before your brain tumor was diagnosed (not caused by the tumor itself)
- You are being admitted to hospital on the same day as your surgery (same-day admission)
- You have severe physical or other difficulties that mean you are already receiving care at a specialist rehabilitation centre
- You do not have access to a Windows-based computer or laptop with an internet connection, as this is needed for the brain rehabilitation exercises in the trial
