- You have been diagnosed with kidney cancer that has spread to other parts of your body at the same time as the original diagnosis (called synchronous metastatic kidney cancer)
- Your original kidney tumor has not been surgically removed yet
- You have already received a type of cancer treatment called immunotherapy (specifically a combination therapy involving immune checkpoint inhibitors)

- You are willing and able to sign a consent form to participate in the trial

- Women who are pregnant, possibly pregnant without using effective contraception, or who are breastfeeding
- People who are in an emergency medical situation or are unable to give their own consent
- Adults who are under legal protection, such as those with a court-appointed guardian or similar arrangement
- People who are unable to attend regular medical check-ups due to where they live, their social situation, or their mental health
- People who have already had their kidney surgically removed as part of cancer treatment
- People being considered for kidney removal only because of symptoms, but whose cancer spreading to other areas has not responded strongly to treatment
- People whose kidney cancer had not spread at the time of diagnosis and who received immunotherapy before surgery in that context
- People who are not medically suitable for surgery or cannot have their kidney removed for health reasons
- People who do not wish to have their kidney surgically removed
- People with severe, advanced kidney failure
