  • Your liver enzyme levels (ALT) are more than 3 times the normal upper limit (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a serious health condition where your life expectancy is 3 years or less
  • You are planning to become pregnant in the near future
  • You are unable to attend follow-up appointments for any reason
  • You have taken medications that can cause weight changes (such as steroids or thyroid hormones) for more than 2 weeks at a time during the past year
  • You have taken part in another clinical trial in the past 4 weeks
  • You have had stomach reduction surgery or any surgery on your digestive tract
  • You have been diagnosed with any type of cancer or tumour
