Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Women aged 18 or older at the time of screening.
  • People who have been diagnosed with either advanced endometrial cancer (uterine cancer) at a late stage, or endometrial cancer that has come back and cannot be cured, where the medical team has decided that drug treatment is the right approach. A type of cancer called carcinosarcoma is also included.
  • People who are planned to receive, or have already started, a specific combination of cancer treatments: chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel) followed by a maintenance treatment with durvalumab (brand name IMFINZI®), or durvalumab together with olaparib (brand name Lynparza®), based on the approved guidelines for these medicines. People who have already received up to 2 cycles of chemotherapy may still be considered, though places for this group are limited.
  • People whose tumour is eligible for treatment with durvalumab and/or olaparib according to the approved prescribing guidelines for IMFINZI® and Lynparza® (confirm with trial site).
  • People whose tumour has already been tested for a specific feature called MMR (mismatch repair) status, with results available.
  • People who are willing and able to fill in quality-of-life questionnaires as part of the study.
  • People who can read and understand German, English, Arabic, Russian, or Turkish.
  • People who have signed a written consent form agreeing to take part.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have already received more than 2 cycles of the first-line chemotherapy combination.
  • People with a known allergy or sensitivity to carboplatin, paclitaxel, durvalumab, olaparib, or any of the ingredients in these medicines.
  • People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
  • People who are unable to swallow tablets or capsules.
  • People who are currently taking part in, or planning to take part in, another interventional clinical trial.
  • People who are currently receiving or planning to receive drug treatment for a different type of cancer other than the endometrial cancer described above.
  • People whose cancer has been identified as a sarcoma.
