Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with acute B lymphocytic leukemia (a type of blood cancer) that has come back after treatment, has not responded to treatment, or where your own T cells cannot be used to make a CAR-T cell therapy.
• Your cancer cells test positive for a protein called CD19 (confirmed by a lab test).
• You are between 18 and 70 years old (inclusive).
• Your doctors expect you to live for more than 3 months from the time you sign up for the trial.
• You are reasonably able to carry out daily activities, as measured by a standard medical scoring system (confirm with trial site).
• Your heart is pumping well (more than 50% efficiency), with no major abnormalities on a heart tracing test.
• Your blood oxygen level is at a healthy level (92% or above).
• Your kidneys and liver are functioning within acceptable ranges, based on blood tests.
• If you are able to become pregnant or father a child, you agree to use reliable contraception during the study and for six months afterward, and you agree to inform the research team immediately if pregnancy occurs or is suspected.
• You (or your legal guardian) understand and are willing to sign the consent form for the trial.

Who may not be able to join:

• You have another serious illness that is not well controlled, such as an ongoing infection, heart failure, unstable chest pain, irregular heartbeat, serious lung disease, or a mental health condition.
• You currently have another active cancer (other than the one being studied).
• You have a serious infection that cannot be brought under control.
• You test positive for active Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, cytomegalovirus (CMV), or Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infections in your blood (confirm with trial site for specific details).
• You test positive for HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) or syphilis.
• You have had a severe allergic reaction to a biological medicine or antibiotic in the past.
• You received a stem cell transplant from a donor and then experienced a severe (grade 3–4) acute reaction where the donated cells attacked your body (a serious form of graft-versus-host disease).
• You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
• You have an active autoimmune disease (where your immune system attacks your own body) that requires ongoing treatment to suppress your immune system.
• The trial doctors believe your participation could put you at increased risk or could affect the reliability of the trial results.
