Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been clinically diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) at any stage (stage 1 through 5), based on kidney function test results
- People between 18 and 90 years of age, of any gender
Who may not be able to join:
- People in the control group (comparison group) who have a known kidney disease or kidney abnormality
- People who have previously had any type of kidney surgery or a kidney transplant
- People who have damaged or broken skin on their abdomen (stomach area)
- People who have an implanted electronic device (such as a pacemaker)
- People who have a spinal condition or back/spine discomfort
- People who have had any abdominal (stomach area) surgery recently
- People who are pregnant
- People with a BMI (body mass index) over 35, which is a measure of body weight relative to height
- People who have uncontrollable involuntary body movements, such as those caused by conditions like Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, stroke, cerebral palsy, tardive dyskinesia, tremors, or similar neurological or seizure-related conditions
