Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are able to understand and agree to take part in the study (give informed consent)

  • You have been previously diagnosed with migraine and currently have a headache with typical migraine features — such as at least 2 or 3 of the following: headaches that come and go, pain on one side of the head, a pounding or throbbing feeling, or feeling sick to your stomach — and a doctor has ruled out other conditions that could look like a migraine

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are pregnant, confirmed by a urine test
  • You have a known allergy or sensitivity to the medication being studied
  • You have a history of kidney problems or kidney disease
  • You have a documented history of myasthenia gravis (a condition that causes muscle weakness)
  • You have already taken the study medication within the last 48 hours before joining
  • You have already taken part in this same trial at a previous visit or encounter
