Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have advanced kidney disease (stage 4 or 5), are on dialysis, or have had a kidney transplant
- You are 18 years old or older
- Your doctor has recommended that you receive a flu vaccine
- You are able and willing to give your free and informed consent to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a known allergy to the flu vaccine or to egg proteins
- You have already received a flu vaccine this current flu season
- You currently have an active infection
- You are currently experiencing an acute (sudden or short-term) illness
- You have received treatment to prevent organ rejection in the last 3 months (confirm with trial site)
- You received a kidney transplant with induction therapy within the last 6 months (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently taking certain immune-suppressing medications, including CTLA4 agonists, complement inhibitors, or anti-CD20 treatments (confirm with trial site)
- You have received an intravenous immunoglobulin infusion in the last 3 months, as this could affect blood test results
- You are a minor, an adult under legal guardianship or trusteeship, or a person who has had their freedom restricted
- You are not able to speak French
- You are not affiliated with the French Social Security system
