Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged between 18 and 60 years old

  • People who have a history of any of the following conditions: immune system problems, major gut surgery, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, blood vessel disease, cancer, eating disorders, gut-related illnesses, autoimmune diseases, a pacemaker, thyroid disease, gallbladder disease, long-term inflammatory conditions, scleroderma, blood clotting disorders, or intravenous drug use
  • People whose weight has changed by more than 10% in the past four weeks
  • People who have used antibiotics or probiotic supplements in the month before the study, or who would need to use them during the study
  • People currently taking certain medications, including GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic), corticosteroids or other anti-inflammatory medicines, NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen) on a daily basis, blood-thinning medications (such as warfarin), or any medicines that suppress the immune system
  • People with a dairy allergy
  • People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
