Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 60 years old

- Women with a waist circumference of 88 cm (35 inches) or more, or men with a waist circumference of 102 cm (40 inches) or more
- People who are willing to take experimental capsules every day

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a history of any of the following conditions: immune system problems, major gut surgery, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, blood vessel disease, cancer, eating disorders, gut-related illnesses, autoimmune diseases, a pacemaker, thyroid disease, gallbladder disease, long-term inflammatory conditions, scleroderma, blood clotting disorders, or intravenous drug use
- People whose weight has changed by more than 10% in the past four weeks
- People who have used antibiotics or probiotic supplements in the month before the study, or who would need to use them during the study
- People currently taking certain medications, including GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic), corticosteroids or other anti-inflammatory medicines, NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen) on a daily basis, blood-thinning medications (such as warfarin), or any medicines that suppress the immune system
- People with a dairy allergy
- People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
