Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with any type of solid tumour, confirmed by biopsy
• People whose cancer is at any stage or location, and who are scheduled to have surgery to remove the tumour all at once — including people with cancer that has come back or a new cancer that has developed
• People whose planned surgery is intended to cure the cancer, as part of standard medical care
• People aged 18 years or older, of any sex
• People who are expected to live for more than 12 weeks
• People who have a reasonably good level of physical functioning, as measured by standard medical scoring tools (confirm with trial site)
• People whose blood sugar level is below 200 mg/dL on the day of surgery, before the imaging substance is given

Who may not be able to join:

• People for whom surgery is not considered safe or suitable for any general or local medical reason
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People whose blood sugar level is 200 mg/dL or above before the imaging substance is given
• People who have taken part in another clinical trial or research study in the past year that involved more than a small amount of radiation exposure (1 mSv) — though the trial doctor may still consider people who received that level of radiation as part of their usual care, unless the lead researcher determines there may be a safety risk
