Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are able to understand and sign a written consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
- People who are between 18 and 75 years of age at the time of joining
- People who have, or have had, at least 2 out of 5 features of a condition called metabolic syndrome (a group of health issues including things like high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and excess body fat around the waist)

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a chronic liver disease caused by something other than MASH, or who have any history or signs of their liver no longer working properly (decompensated liver disease)
- People who have a history of type 1 diabetes
- People whose liver enzyme levels (specific blood markers called ALT or AST) are five times higher than the normal range
