Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, at any stage
- People who finished a course of chemotherapy (before or after surgery) at least 3 months ago — those currently on maintenance or palliative systemic therapy may also be eligible
- People who score 30 or lower on a specific memory and thinking self-assessment called the PROMIS Cognitive Function Short Form 8a (confirm with trial site)
- People who can speak and understand English
- People who have access to a computer and a Wi-Fi connection
- People who currently live in the United States
- People who identify as female
- People who are willing and able to fully take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have type 1 diabetes
- People who are currently enrolled in a formal diet or weight loss program
- People who have previously had bariatric (weight loss) surgery
- People with a history of an eating disorder
- People who work night shifts
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or currently trying to become pregnant
- People who have been diagnosed with dementia, or a psychological, psychiatric, or neurological condition
- People with active brain or central nervous system disease
- People who currently use or have previously used medications intended to improve memory or thinking
- People who have had radiation treatment to the brain, either in the past or currently
- People who regularly fast for 12 or more hours every night
- People with a history of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia)
- People who score 20 or higher across all 9 questions on a standard depression screening tool (called the PHQ-9), or who score anything other than 0 on question 9 of that screening (which relates to thoughts of self-harm)
