Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 10 and 17 years old
- You have been diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) according to standard medical guidelines (DSM-5)
- Your OCD symptoms are in a moderate range, based on a specific rating scale score between 16 and 23 (confirm with trial site)
- You have been taking your current medication at a steady dose for at least 6 weeks
- You have completed at least 6 years of schooling
- At least one of your parents or guardians is able to attend and participate in the entire treatment program with you
- Both you and your participating parent are able to read and write well enough to take part in the treatment
- Both you and your participating parent have adequate hearing and vision to complete the required tests and assessments
- You are right-handed (this requirement applies only to participants taking part in the brain scan portion of the study)
- You and your parent or guardian have been fully informed about the study and have agreed to take part by signing a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- Your OCD symptoms are very severe, based on a rating scale score of 24 or higher
- You are currently considered to be at high risk of suicide
- You have another serious condition alongside OCD, such as a brain disease, severe physical illness, learning disability, autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, a severe eating disorder, or issues with substance use
- You have already completed a full course of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (a specific type of talking therapy) for OCD in the past 12 months
- Your IQ has been measured as lower than 80
- You are currently receiving another form of psychological or physical treatment
- You are unwilling or unable to fully participate in and complete the treatment
- You have any metal implants in your body, such as a pacemaker, dental implants, stents, or joint fixings (this applies only to participants taking part in the brain scan portion of the study)
