Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who receive primary care at Boston Medical Center
• People who are at least 18 years old
• People who have access to a computer or mobile device
• People who are able to receive treatment in English or Spanish
• People who can read at around a 4th grade level
• People who have experienced a traumatic event, confirmed using a standard checklist at the baseline appointment
• People who have been diagnosed with PTSD, confirmed by a clinician using a standard assessment at the baseline appointment
• People whose condition is considered appropriate for outpatient care (treatment without hospital admission)
• People who have been on psychiatric medication (if any) at a stable dose for more than 4 weeks

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently receiving therapy provided by a clinician
• People whose condition is not considered appropriate for outpatient care, as assessed by a clinician at the baseline appointment
• People who are assessed as having an immediate or serious risk of suicidal thoughts or behaviour, as determined by a clinician using a standard rating scale at the baseline appointment
